 In the middle of the hills of ceylon there towers a mountain.It stand more than seven thousand three hundred feet above the level of the ocean.Hindus and Buddhist,Muslims and Christians a like,rever this mountain as a holy place. the shrine is only a tiled roof raised upon four pillars.It is open an all four sides to every wind that blows many languges and at least four religions.To Buddhists it is the foot print of the Gautama Budda.Another common name is samanala kanda the hill of god saman
